Wrights is having a huge Eames auction. Best of all you can bid online. Via Unbeige.

Herman Miller now has a great new space in Los Angeles on Holdrege Avenue (not too far from my house – I like that). The refurbished warehouse was redesigned by Lynch / Eisinger / Design with the interior by TVS. You can see more designs by Lynch/Eisinger here. Via LATimes.

Pratt Institute lent some of its most famous graduates and professors (including former professor Eva Zeisel)…and less famous students, to fit out a couple of apartments in a new Brooklyn condo designed by Roger Marvel Architects. I spent a bit of time at the Pratt stand during New York Design week this year. The student work was really impressive … as were the students I met. The chair below is a Zeisel design, the side table is designed by a Pratt student in collaboration with Carlos Salgado of Scrapile, and the lamp is a prototype by Tim Richartz. The wall paper below is by interior design students. Via InteriorDesign.

I’ve posted about these guys before – Willard Ford and Andrea Ching have a great eye. Check out their new website and blog (the blog launch party looked like fun). My picks? The Skram wood drop stool above – and the Dragon table below.

New work from New Zealand designer David Trubridge. Above is a cradle that echoes his now ubiquitous Coral light shade. Below are new lights…it’ll be interesting to see if the take off like his original designs did.

I was in Anthropologie a few days ago looking for a present for my brother and sister-in-law. They’ve got a tonne of new stuff (a sampling of which is pictured here). I do love their aesthetic. Even though it doesn’t necessarily fit in with the rest of my stuff there is something so alluring about all that ‘pretty’.

A lovely low sling timber chair from HarBennger2.
